2024-07-27: Deeper into the Tunnel

Five players for D&D tonight.
Recap
The party definitely jumped from the frying pan into the fire. Ahndan, Foster and Sabin moved through the tunnel and ran into the other party’s porters resting in a small room. They stole a pack from them but moved past them.
Darr hid in the jungle until dark then realized the villagers and adventurers were no longer at the tunnel entrance. He decided to move into the tunnel. He eventually ran into the same porters but they had an armed man with them and a four armed monkey. The armed man disabled Darr.
Asmodean got lost in the jungle. He tried to climb trees to scope out his location several times but seemed to keep getting more and more lost.
Ahndan, Foster and Sabin eventually ran into the remainder of the Xoth explorers in the tunnel. The fight didn’t go well. They’re currently retreating back towards the porters in the middle of the tunnel.
The dice were crazy tonight. I rolled 1’s with the exact same guy trying to attack Foster 4 times in a row. When I did break the streak I rolled two nat 20’s in a row for some hard hitting crits. Not long after this I followed up with another nat 20 crit on Sabin.
