Five players for D&D tonight.
Recap
5 People for D&D last night. The party explored the tombs they found in the mountain tunnel. They discovered two ancient desiccated elf brothers wearing death masks in the sarcophagus. They lucked into figuring out they could kill the first with it’s own own ceremonial daggers and dispatched it.
The second was harder. It was a spell caster. Initially it just punished them with an aura sapping their strength and used greater command to force them back out of the tomb.
They decided to try and wear the first brother’s death mask and realized that in addition to it bringing the planar map engravings on the sarcophagus to life it allowed them to communicate with the second brother.
In the end they negotiated a trade that allowed the second brother to join the first in permanent death and left the party with the ceremonial daggers (keys) that they’ll need to pass through the portal to Eberron next week in our soft reboot.
